20 YEARS OF CREATIVE PRODUCTS
In 1990, after 10 years of fishing from Key West to Northern British Columbia, Jim & Kitty Vincent founded RIO in the mountains of Idaho. Their business model was simple; exceptional fly fishing products should be built by anglers for anglers. Twenty years later, we’re still in Idaho and driven by that same ethos.
Most of us here are your basic passionate fly fishing bums, looking for any excuse to get on the water as much as we can. Often, that means tinkering with tapers, coatings and cores to bring you the very best lines on the market. This year, we’ve enjoyed getting out on our home waters and testing our two newest lines: the Trout LT (Light Touch) and the new Indicator Line. We think you’ll find these two new lines to be among our best yet and must-haves in the arsenal of the serious trout angler.
But not everything we did this year is brand new. We’ve taken two of our most popular features—our DualTone color system and Welded Loops—and added them to more of our lines. Look for these features on many of our premium lines throughout this catalog. |
